Ven workshop on ESS long pulse instruments

  • Venue:
    • Island of Ven, 20 km North of Copenhagen/Lund; Hamnkrogen/Gamlegård

  • Dates:
    • Start 27 October, 2008, 10 am (arrival 26 October possible)
    • End 29 October, 2008, 1 pm in Landskrona
    • (29-31 October, 2008 simulators continue at Copenhagen University, transport will be arranged)
  • Transport:
    • From Copenhagen take a train to Landskrona. This is where we meet.
    • The train departs from Copenhagen Central Station 8.23, from Copenhagen airport 8.36.
    • From Landskrona, we take a ferry to Ven; the boat departs at 10.00 am.
    • (next ferries at 11.30 and 14.15, but we should rather go together).
  • Early arrival:
    • Most participants may like to arrive the day before.
    • In this case, we arrange a hotel in Lund and common transport to Landskrona/Ven
  • Other arrangements:
    • 28 October we will have one hour tour on the Tycho Brahe observatory; the first large scale facility of Scandinavia.
  • Reimbursements:
    • This can be done upon request; for economy class tickets only. Please keep all reciepts, including boarding cards and send them to Kim Lefmann.
